Joining the UKVA

The UKVA welcomes all who are interested in grape and wine production in the UK, large or small producers, and non-producers who wish to be involved and informed.  Members join the UKVA via their Regional Association, where they also benefit from local networks, events and publications.

Membership Benefits:

As well as the regional associations publications, meetings, competitions and other benefits, membership has these benefits:

  • email forum - a closed forum for ukva members to discuss issues relating to vine growing and winemaking.
  • The "Grape Press" - the UKVA publication also sent out twice a year. National wine industry news, technical reports, and updates to legislation.
  • The "Green Book" - Annual publication from the UKVA giving details of pesticides approved for use in vineyards.
  • Access to UKVA competition - for commercial growers, this is the UK wine industry "Oscars", with awards presented at the House of Lords.
  • Preferential rates to attend UKVA Symposia and the Annual General Conference meetings.
  • Regular Bulletins from the UKVA detailing important legislation changes and items of interest to members.
  • Access to legal advice through the UKVA membership of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association.
  • Only members are listed in the widely available Map of the Vineyards of England and Wales.
